On January 11, Chairman of the delegation, Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Hong Kong Xinhua Group, Cai Guanshen, Vice President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (University Development) Wang Yang, Chairman of Chinese Academy of Sciences Venture Capital and Chairman of Biosino Beijing Enterprises Wu Lebin and other delegations visited The Saigon Hi-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to learn about local economic and trade development, investment policies, etc.

Saigon High-tech Park was established in 2002 and is one of the three national-level high-tech parks established by the Vietnamese government. The two parties had in-depth exchanges on the current economic situation of Vietnam and the prospects for cooperation between Vietnam and enterprises and universities in the high-tech field in Vietnam and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Wu Lebin said that green technology is urgently needed for green development around the world, and the fund link can serve as a bridge between the supply side and the demand side. He believes that European and American technologies have spillovers on the supply side. On the other hand, China and Vietnam, especially the high-tech parks visited today, will be important demand sides in the future, and Hong Kong can connect the supply and demand sides of the East and West.
